March 31 - Friday Funny - Liza Minnelli

Each Friday here at Jay's Jabberwocky it will be Friday Funny. I will share will you the funny event / story of the day /week. This Week:

Legendary performer LIZA MINNELLI has declared she is through with sex and just wants to find a partner who is kind and has some integrity.

I don't know whether to feel relieved or targeted. Either way one could lose sleep should she show up in your hometown. I only wish I had the Avon contract for her block.

Anyway, Cheers and Happy Friday. Baseball begins on Monday.

March 30 - Having Three Kids

Today’s topic will center on parenting and writing. My lovely wife, Heidi, was recently interviewed for an online site, http://www.havingthreekids.com/. Look under the Profiles section.

She approved my mention of this interview within my blog as long as I including her following statement: “but add a disclaimer that I may not entirely support the political beliefs expressed by your blogs.”

That’s fine but I believe at the end of the day her three kids will fully endorse and champion my causes.

Heidi is considered by many to be an excellent writer and poet (the non-rhyming type). I on the other hand prefer a good limerick. I’m sure one day she will be published, but until then I will continually remind her of my many contributions that have been displayed by the likes of USA Today, Newsweek, and the Cincinnati Enquirer.

March 29 - Today's Project

The weather finally broke 50 degrees. Spring is in the air. We completed our first outdoor project of the year: Build a Bike Rack

March 29 - Illegal Aliens

Let's see if I have this right: Five Hundred Thousand ILLEGAL immigrants and their children are demonstrating that the U.S. Congress must change the laws they've BROKEN.

They demand rights in Spanish (at least that’s what my gardener translated for me) while waving Mexican flags. Their protests disrupt traffic and normal commerce.

They send their earnings back to Mexico (without paying income taxes); our public schools provide their children a free education (without collecting any property taxes); and they get free medical services for their families (while raising the rates for those that are insured). We also pick up the tab for the criminal aliens that account for 27% of all inmates in the federal prison system.

I welcome LEGAL immigrants ... the ones who honor our laws and assist in supporting the infrastructure that they use.

March 28 - OPENING DAY

Yes, it's TIME. I thought that blogs would go the way of the Betamax (I still have one). But I was wrong. TODAY - I will begin sharing my thoughts in a BLOG.

Everyone wants to know, WWJD. What Would Jay Do. It's a novel idea, maybe I'll inscribe it on some wrist bands.

I get countless calls and emails every day about what do U think, what would U do, is that legal? In order to stop that I will now post a daily blog to hopefully move things along.

My posts will be mostly topical and not too personal. Almost daily someone will tell me that what I just said was TMI (too much information). I will, however, still update all on family activities, milestones, pictures, and the like.
