Feb. 20, 2013 - Loser of the Week - Ashley Judd

This week's LOSER OF THE WEEK is Ashley Judd.

Miss Judd is considering a run for Senator from Kentucky. Earlier this week, the Hollywood actress reportedly met with the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in Washington.

Here are her qualifications:

EXACTLY.

I guess Ashley Judd is serious about running for the Senate. She took care of her Illegal Immigrant problem. She announced that she is splitting with her Scottish Husband.

Why do so many Hollywood-types think they can just decide to run for very high political office without any experience?

Every election season we hear how Ben Affleck, Alec Baldwin, or George Clooney is considering a Senate Run. I guess they must be encouraged by Al Franken's successful (?) MN senate campaign. However, we found out in the postmortem that the senate seat was stolen when 1099 felons provided Franken with a 302 winning vote margin.

Never mind that Judd doesn't currently live in Kentucky. It hasn't stopped other Democrats before like Hilary Clinton and Bobby Kennedy from claiming other State's Senate seats.

I'm not a strong Mitch McConnell supporter. I just don't think we need any more pseudo Senators in Washington. We need serious people there to DO the people's business.

How about electing someone who has experiencing turning around a company or state that was losing money, someone who has created jobs, someone who had NO skeletons in his closet.

Oh wait, that was Mitt Romney.

As a graduate of the University of Kentucky, and with a masters degree from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government, and an international activist on women's issues and AIDS prevention, she's decidedly more qualified than the multitude of conservatives who can't tell the difference between quantifiable, provable fact, and opinion.

Smartest thing she ever did - NOT running.
