Feb. 18, 2013 - PPM - Drinking Water not Kool-Aid

This week's PET PEEVE MONDAY (PPM) is about the concern over Marco Rubio drinking water while the Media drinks the Kool-Aid.

I watched the State of the Union address by President Obama and then follow-up speech by Republican Marco Rubio.

No One in the media is discussing what Obama said. No one is discussing what Rubio said. All anyone is talking about is that Rubio paused his speech to take an unscripted drink of water.

SERIOUSLY?

CNN even went so far to discuss if this ended Rubio's political career.

President Obama offers not a single solution to protect/save Medicare or reduce the debt. Silence. Rubio takes sip of water... RIOT!

Remember that time a presidential campaign was focused on personal tax returns; Big Bird, birth control and binders? We definitely can't nominate someone in 2016 who's good at handling money or balancing budgets. That obviously doesn't fly in politics. (r.e. Romney 2012)

Yeah, How did that work out for everybody? Let's focus on drinking water.
