June 1, 2010 - PPM - BP Oil Spill

I know June 1 is a Tuesday. I never offer a PET PEEVE MONDAY (PPM) on a National Holiday, especially Memorial Day.


I've held off commentary on the BP Oil spill in the gulf in the hope that a solution would be delivered. It's now been over 40 days.

You have to wonder if Wile E. Coyote is running the BP oil spill operation. They’ve tried “Top Hat”, “Top Kill”, “Jump Shot”, “Junk Shot”, etc.… What’s next, strapping an Acme rocket to the back of someone and launching them into the pipe via a large rubber band?

Are our best and brightest really engaged in the situation?

Now the White House has launched a criminal probe. Wow, that ought to solve it. Put lawyers on the problem. However if you strap enough lawyers to a rocket ….
