June 5, 2009 - Friday Funny - Ice Cream

This week's FRIDAY FUNNY comes from a Jabberwocker up north.

In Honor of the 44th President of the United States, Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream has issued a new flavor, "Baracky Road."

Baracky Road is a blend of half Vanilla, half Chocolate, and surrounded by Nuts and Flakes.

The Vanilla portion of the mix is not openly advertised and usually denied as an ingredient.

The Nuts and Flakes are all very bitter and hard to swallow.

The Cost is $100.00 per scoop.

When purchased, it will be presented to you in a large beautiful cone, but then the Ice Cream is taken away and given to the person in line behind you.

Thus you are left with an empty wallet, no change, holding an empty cone, with no hope of getting any Ice Cream.

Feeling stimulated yet?

The Baskin Robbins announcemant is on the heels of Starbuck's recent decision to pull Dubya Chocolate Chip Frappuccino from its menu. After a disasterous 8 year run as a menu leader, the drink's popularity had plummeted.

According to a company spokesmen, "This initally was the beverage everyone wanted to have a beer with. But the longer the drink was around, the more apparent its drawbacks became." The drinks halluginogenic properties were causing our patrons to see WMDs where none existed. In addition, it's strong deregulatory action caused profound gastointestinal distress in all who consumed it, leading to widespread unemployment and near-economic collapse. On a related note, new underwear is selling at a record pace.

Many Dubya Chocolate Chip Frappuccino victims are hoping that Baracky Road ice cream will be the remedy for all that ails them. Howevery, many experts are urging caution. It has been predicted that the misery may simply be shifted to a different population of people. The lesson to be learned is that massive consumption of sweets is no substitute for personal responsibility.
