November 5 - Pet Peeve Monday - No License, No Problem

This week’s PET PEEVE MONDAY concerns ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. You probably are saying, “What AGAIN?”

And I have to respond, “I know, FIX THE PROBLEM!!!”

This week the PEEVE is the fact that ILLEGAL Immigrants are obtaining LEGAL Driver’s Licenses.

I wouldn’t have known anything about this until Hillary Clinton waffled on her answer about the issue at last week’s Democratic debate. It turns out that eight states now allow “undocumented workers” (r.e. ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS) to receive driver’s licenses. New York will be the ninth state.

An Illegal Immigrant without documentation or insurance caused my only driving accident in the last 30 years. The criminal was trying to back-up on an Interstate Highway because he had missed his exit. Guess who got stuck with the bill for the undocumented, uninsured driver?

More amazing is that ten states have passed legislation that allows ILLEGAL RESIDENTS to receive in-state tuition rates at public universities.

The ten states are:

California
Illinois
Kansas
Nebraska
Mew Mexico
New York
Oklahoma
Texas
Utah
Washington

While my Ohio born child attends an Ohio college in order to lower the out-of pocket costs, ILLEGAL ALIENS can pick and choose and attend college within certain states at a cheaper rate than my USA born son.

A MONUMENTAL WTF here.

Until the laws are followed and enforced, there will exist a backlash to our elected representatives and to the people that exploit our weak borders.

I would like to say that it is “nothing personal”, but it is TOTALLY PERSONAL when you, in effect, TAX LEGAL RESIDENTS FOR FOLLOWING THE LAWS OF THE LAND.
