May 6, 2016 - Friday Funny - Hertz, Not So Good.

Here is the summary of my recent interaction with Hertz Rental Car Company.

Trip to Los Angeles – Seinfeld Moment #1 – I tried to retrieve my reserved SUV from Hertz.

Hertz: Have you ever driven a SUV?  - ME: Yes, I own one in Ohio

Hertz: Have I ever driven a SUV in California?  ME: Yes, I lived here for 10 years, and drove them and owned them without incident.

Hertz: You understand traffic in Cincinnati and Los Angeles are different?  ME:  You don’t have my reserved SUV do you?

Hertz:  Would you like a full-size car with a 15 % discount and a full tank of gas?   ME:  So you can TAKE the reservation, but you can’t HOLD the reservation.  ANYONE can TAKE the reservation, but HOLDING the reservation is really the important part.

Hertz: Huh?  ME: Nevermind.  I bet customers would appreciate if you didn’t pee on them and tell them it is raining.

Hertz: (Smirk)  ME: I’m going to NEED ALL the insurance you can offer.
