This week's FRIDAY FUNNY has always puzzled me. 

Why are there referees in the WWE?

I remember watching the WWE when it was called the WWF.  It was in the mid-80's at a bar in Dayton, OH named Urban Suburban.  What I remember was there was a table of guys watching a Pay Per View World Wresting Federation event.  They were KEEPING SCORE and drinking Diet Coke by the pitcher.  KEEPING SCORE?

My only question was, "How did they get out of their Momma's basement after dark?"
