July 8, 2013 - PPM - ObamaCare doesn't work?

This week's PET PEEVE MONDAY (PPM) concerns ObamaCare. This week, the Obama Administration announced that they would delay the law's implementation by a year.

 

ObamaCare is the transformational heath care law that was so popular it had to be passed in the dead of night and delayed until after two elections. (Sarcasm Font)

 

What happened to "We can't wait?" So ObamaCare saves lives, but we're going to delay implementing parts of it? Don't tell me Obama speeches were just empty rhetoric.

 

Personally, I am shocked all of Obama's speeches didn't solve all the issues with ObamaCare. I really thought that would work.

 

When Congress voted, they said: "“The amendments made by this section shall apply to months beginning after December 31, 2013.” Obama decided to simply ignore.

 

IS THAT POSSIBLE OR CONSTITUTIONAL?

 

WOW. ObamaCare employer mandate will be delayed till 2015. So employers will dump workers into the exchange after the midterm elections of 2014 when 21 Democrat senate seats are up for reelection.

 

Obama is manipulating election results by delaying news: How is this different from the IRS scandal of 2011 or Benghazi of 2012?

 

Are all congressionally-established effective dates in all laws now merely suggestions for the all-powerful executive?

 

Does the law allow HHS to delay any part of ObamaCare? Shouldn't Congress have to act?

 

The Supreme Court ruled last year that ObamaCare is a tax! Doesn't our government need more tax revenue? Why the delay?

 

No big deal. I'm sure when we finally implement ObamaCare with the IRS as a key component, ALL will be fine?
